THE ETERNAL COURTS
The Eternal Courts are more closely bound than any other alliance, and it is not uncommon for goblins to shift their allegiance between day to night, or dusk to dawn as the whimsy takes them and the courts allow. By tradition, many Dusk and Dawn goblins take an unrequited lover from the opposite court, gazing always but never touching.
DAWN
Pact: Hope and renewal
Geas: Always bear a light
Colour: Soft pinks and salmons, touches of white, glowing. Light, pale ombre, pale blues.Â
Emblem: A candle
The Court of Dawn represent hope. Just as the dawn always follows the darkest of nights, so too the goblins of Dawn are a beacon for those in hard times. Yet there is a sorrow at the heart of them, for where does the morning star look for guidance in its own time of need?

DAY
Pact: All-seeing eyes
Geas: Fear of the dark
Colour: White and gold; pristine and sparklingÂ
Emblem: An eye
Day are glittering, splendid, a dazzling vision in white and gold who see all and give away little. They consider themselves an undisputed first among equals, an attitude which draws an indulgent contempt from the High Courts, and outright hostility from the court of Summer.

DUSK
Pact: Transition and transformation
Geas: Lose your way in the shadows
Colour: Warm sunset layers, saturated, shifting and rich. Dark ombre, blues, purples, reds.Â
Emblem: Sunset
The Court of Dusk sit poised on a knife edge between Day and Night, in a place where all things are true and nothing. More than any other court, they understand the true nature of reality and the place of Goblins within it — shapers and dancers, ultimately no more or less real than anything else.

NIGHT
Pact: Walk in dreams
Geas: Blinded by the light
Colour: Midnight blue, tiny white flecks of light
Emblem: Moon
The Court of Night are shadow-keepers, dream-walkers, legend-bearers. Their secrets are held close and prized above all things. Those in search of a dream should tread with care around this dark and gleaming court — for a dream-come-true is not a thing to be taken lightly.
